Publish shows four steps — manuscript, design, editions and the printer's file check — with a button to finish anything that's missing.

Copies for family, or sell in stores

First choose where your book will go. Copies for you, your family and events need no ISBN, and neither does your ebook. To sell your printed book on Amazon, in bookstores or in libraries, each printed edition needs its own ISBN, registered to Author Out Loud as publisher: $39 each, one time.

Editions and prices

Choose paperback, hardcover and ebook. If you're selling, set a list price for each.

Publishing

• We typeset your print-ready interior and full cover.
• Our print partner checks the files before anything prints.

Ordering printed copies

Choose paperback or hardcover, how many, the shipping speed and the address. “Get price” shows printing, shipping and tax before you order.

Printed copies make wonderful gifts — many authors order a box for family.
