Reviewing your chapters: “Check this”, rewrites and versions.

Every chapter is written only from your answers. Here's how to read it, fix what needs fixing, and make it yours.

4 minute read

Open the Manuscript

Your chapters appear in the Manuscript, typeset like a real book. The list on the right shows which chapters are ready to read and which are done.

“Check this” notes

If a sentence needed a detail you didn't give — a date, a name, how long something took — we highlight it in orange and ask you about it. We never fill the gap with a guess.

  • Tap “That's right” if it's correct.
  • Tap “Fix it” to tell us what really happened.

Asking for changes

  • “Tell us what to change” — say it out loud or type it, like “make it warmer” or “Sarah was my cousin, not my sister”.
  • “Try another version” — a fresh draft from the same answers.
  • Every version is kept in History, so nothing is ever lost.

Accept the chapter

When it reads right, tap “Accept this chapter”. Accepted chapters are marked done in your outline.

On the free plan you can read your first chapter. Upgrading unlocks every chapter as it's written.
